Bio
Born the son of one of Canada’s top racers, Max had almost no choice
but to be proficient behind the wheel of a race car. He’s always had
a leg up on the competition when it came to learning the ways from his
father Claude. Having followed his father from racetrack to racetrack
from a very young age, it was apparent racing was in Max’s blood. It
wasn’t until he was 21 years old however that Max was able to
showcase his skill behind the wheel of a racecar.

Having started his career in 2005 in the Magnum Ice Racing series, it
didn’t take long for others to take notice that the apple didn’t
fall far from the tree. In only his second season of ice racing Max
was able to take home the championship in the top class of the Magnum
Ice race series. He went on to compete in the infamous ‘Challenge
sur Glace’ in Sherbrooke, Quebec where he was found himself running
in second place all race long before engine failure ended his bid for
the win just a few laps before the chekered flag.

From there Max turned his attention to Drift Racing and has not looked
back. Over the last 5 years Max has Competed in many competitive Drift
series, such as SWD and XDC in the US as well as CSCS and DMCC right
here in Canada. With highlights including Top 8 and Top 4 finishes in
SWD and the highly competitive DMCC, as well as a 2nd place finish
just this past summer in the CSCS drift series at Canadian Tire
Motorsports Park. Despite limited seat time Max has shown time and
time again that he can go toe to toe with North Americas best Drift
racers.
